Has anyone else felt completely lost during the dissertation process?

I thought choosing a dissertation topic would be the hardest part but I was wrong. The research, writing, and constant revisions have taken much more time than I ever expected. Every meeting with my supervisor seems to leave me with another long list of changes to make. Last night I was sitting in the library looking at my draft and wondering if I was making any real progress at all. I felt so overwhelmed that I started wishing I could find some dissertation help near me because I really need guidance from someone who understands what I am going through. Has anyone else felt this way during their final year?
